Goldplat names CEO
14th Aug 2012
AUG 14 – AIM-listed gold producer Goldplat named Russell Lamming as CEO to succeed Demetri Manolis, who is stepping down after establishing the company in 2006 as a profitable African-focussed gold producer including the producing Kilimapesa gold mine in Kenya.
Manolis will remain as a consultant for an initial 24 months from January 2013.
Lamming, 43, takes up his position on September 1. In his 15-year career he has worked in Africa with resource companies including African Platinum and Chromex Mining.
