GSZ reports large Wolfsberg lithium resource

June 5 – Global Strategic Metals has announced an initial measured JORC resource of 3.7Mt at 1.5% lithium oxide (cutoff 0.75%) for Zone 1 of its Wolfsberg lithium project 270km south of Vienna in Austria.
The company (formerly East Coast Minerals NL) says additional indicated and inferred resource are about 13Mt and the total Zone 1 resource is open at depth and along strike. There is also a large exploration target (Zone 2) with potential to host mineralisation of a similar grade and tonnages.
GSZ says the resource, which supports its target of a minimum 10-year mine life on projected production levels, provides a platform of moving forward towards commercialisation of the project.
