Ncondezi signs project agreement
21st May 2012
JOHANNESBURG, May 21 – Ncondezi Coal has agreed a framework for mutual cooperation with Mozambique’s Ministry of Mineral Resources for the development of its Ncondezi coal project in the Tete Province of Mozambique.
The framework agreement is a precursor to signing the mining contract, which will govern the project development, fiscal regime and operations. CEO Graham Mascall says the agreement sets out the key parameters and an agreed timeline for finalising the mining contract once the definitive feasibility study has been submitted.
