Underdale wins Five Mile Creek work
24th Feb 2012
MELBOURNE, Feb 24 – Callabonna Uranium has let a drilling contract to Underdale Drilling of Adelaide for the Five Mile Creek uranium anomaly at the Mt Denison project, 250km northwest of Alice Springs in the Northern Territory, Australia.
The drilling, to start in early April, will be the first in the area. The Aboriginal Area Protection Authority issued a permit for track construction and drilling of 22 holes.
The $50,000 drilling program should be a definitive test of the anomaly to determine if potentially ore grade uranium and a minable thickness is present.
