TriAusMine to start Woodlawn drilling

10th Feb 2012

SYDNEY, Feb 10 – Drilling will start within the next week targeting plunge extensions to TriAusMin’s Woodlawn high-grade polymetallic deposit in New South Wales, Australia.

The program will focus on Lens B and C, the two largest contributors to previous production at Woodlawn.

TriAusMin says intensive data analysis and reinterpretation of the mineralisation has identified clear target zones along the interpreted plunge direction of the lenses, providing down-dip intercepts up to 300m beyond the limit of past mining.

The company is evaluating the potential redevelopment of the underground mineralisation and the retreatment of tailings from the former Woodlawn mine south of Goulburn.
