GBM happy with sampling
10th Feb 2012
MELBOURNE, Feb 10 – Explorer GBM Resources says surface sampling and mapping has defined a large zone of anomalous copper and gold in the Mount Morgan project area of central Queensland, Australia.
GBM says the Sandy Creek prospect returned peak rock-chip assays to 39% Cu, 8.5g/t Au and 44ppm Ag.
Following further detailed mapping and sampling, the company aims to begin an initial RC drill program as part of regional evaluation during the 2012 field season.
The project 40km south west of Rockhampton is close to the Mt Morgan copper-gold mine.
